Jennifer Lawrence Runs in Pajama Outside Her Apartment to Celebrate Joe Biden’s Win

Jennifer Lawrence could not contain her emotions on Saturday, after hearing that Joe Biden had won the 2020 presidential election. After Jennifer heard the news of the 46th president of the United States, the blonde beauty posted a video of herself running in Boston overwhelmed with joy in a pair of pink pajama bottoms. As the three-time Golden Globe winner played music with a speaker, she ran down a sidewalk, cheering with her hands in the air before she starts whipping her long hair back and forth. “Had no option but to throw a party for one,” the actress captioned the video on Twitter of herself in a grey hoodie with the hashtag “#comeonbostonletsparty.” In the recording, Jennifer Lawrence could also be seen in black Converse sneakers and a leopard-print face mask.

Her post comes one month after she used her platform to support Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and tweet that she is a “proud” Democrat. In a podcast Absolutely Not, Lawrence previously was “a little Republican,” she said and had voted for John McCain back in 2008. Jennifer Lawrence said that growing up in a Republican household allowed her to see some of the Republican policies’ financial interests. However, she added that “the social issues were not in line with her point of view,” and over the years, she “changed her point of view based on the things she learned.” Jennifer previously mused on her political journey to Vogue back in 2015: “I was raised as a Republican, but I cannot imagine supporting a political party that does not support women’s fundamental rights. “It is 2015, and gay people can get married, and we think that we have come so far, so, yay! But have we? I do not want to stay calm about that stuff.” The Hunger Games star added: “If Donald Trump is president, it will be the end of the world.” While she chats with Absolutely Not, she said, “Trump is an impeached president who has broken many laws and has rejected to condemn white supremacy, and it feels like there has been a line drawn in the sand. I do not think it is right; it just changes things for me.” The Silver Linings Playbook actress endorsed Joe Biden and Kamala Harris at the beginning of the month when she appeared on the front page of V Magazine’s special election edition. Jennifer said: “Donald Trump has and will continue to put himself before the safety and well-being of America. Trump does not represent my values as an American, and most importantly, as a human being.”
