Miley Cyrus Posing for Rolling Stone Magazine’s January 2021 issue

Miley Cyrus poses topless for the new cover of Rolling Stone magazine’s January 2021 issue, where Miley talks about troubling time in her life, as well as her latest album Plastic Hearts. Posing on the cover in nothing but a pantyhose, she discusses approaching a new chapter in her life with a rock and roll sound and a clear head. Despite a new chapter, Miley Cyrus remembers a darker time in her life as she speaks about the innate pain she was going through in 2017 and 2018 that made her depend on substances. The singer also remembers the media’s intention to associate her fluctuating look with gauging what she was going through as an artist. Covering her breasts with her hands decorated with jewelry, Miley Cyrus peels back the layers of herself for an honest and telling interview.

Though committed to Sobriety, she admitted that she was not immune to the pandemic’s stress as she shared, it caused her to relapse. ‘It was a struggle, mental health and anxiety, and all that. Adding that she had to take a hard look at her life and make the substantial effort to get clean, Miley said, “Sobriety was my choice. I must fulfill my purpose right now.” With a new album and a higher purpose to fulfill, she discussed the idea of “legacy” and what that looks like. “I desire to be known as someone that created something that did not truly exist or that I produced something that no one knew that they needed, but when they had it, they sensed that they could not live without it. That is what I would want as an artist,” Miley Cyrus said.
