Julianne Moore Graced the Cover of 2020 DuJour Magazine

Julianne Moore posed for a casual yet chic cover shoot for the DuJour magazine. Since March, she has been living the good life in quarantine with her husband and daughter in The Hamptons. “We felt so lucky to have it,” Julianne said of her Montauk residence. It was so so cold in the winter, but at the same time fantastic. It is always amazing to be with your family; she mused about this unprecedented situation. Julianne said about the pandemic. “My husband cooks and I clean – but we are both so weak of the endless loads of laundry and dishes. It has been a lesson for all of us.” She added: “Trying to go forward as if nothing has changed is crazy. We have to admit that we do not know what is happening with anything.”

Julianne has been hunkering down with her family in Montauk during the pandemic, but the actress has some exciting projects on the horizon. She admitted that meeting the 86-year-old women’s rights activist was “intimidating but amazing.” Julianne Moore is set to portray Steinem in the upcoming movie The Glorias, which will be available on Amazon Prime Video / VOD on September 30. The actress talked about her first meeting with Gloria Steinem. “Gloria is such a magnificent and formidable woman and the definition of an activist.” Julianne will portray the activist in the movie after age 40, while actress Alicia Vikander will take on the character from ages 20-40. Gloria Steinem helped throughout the movie production and diplomatically stepped in to make sure the acting was accurate. “Gloria will gently correct you,” she said.
